DENTED/Dinged: Sparkle Motion Multi-Pattern Holiday Laser Light System

I was hesitant to buy this because of the bad reviews but i'm so glad i did! I think the reason other reviewers couldn't get the light to work is because it has a light sensor. It literally won't turn on unless you're in the dark! But once you turn off the lights at night and hit the big red button on the back, there's an explosion of lights, and so many patterns to choose from. Watch out if you have bright street lights or landscaping lights, because those can stop this from working right too. I tested mine in a completely dark room then went outside and made sure I positioned these in shadowy areas .

Some of the patterns move and some of them stay still. Some of them are entirely red or green, and others are mixed.

I personally bought two of these and both work perfectly. Since it only uses one button, it's super simple to use. There is no on/off switch, you just set them up outside, plug them in and wait for dark. They turn on by themselves! I really like that feature because you don't have to buy a separate timer to keep your lights off during the day.

One light covers one entire side of my house (I have a small house) so  I have one facing the front of my home and one facing the side. I'll be purchasing more so I can play with effects and get more of my house covered. This is so much easier than string lights or blanket lights. I don't think I'll ever go back to those.

I ordered one and it didn't work.  Notified vendor and they sent another one (that didn't work).

one  of the lights that I gave as a gift was not working. I was very  disappointed
