These knives are incredible and the price is incredible. They are very sharp which means you have to be very careful. Use the chef way of cutting with ends of fingers pointing inward to what you are cutting and keeping tips of fingers protected.

I own some of the high end name brand chefs knifes. I am a big fan of the santoku style. I decided to try a few of these out more for taking on trips and such. Little did I know when I ordered how good these actually are. SHARP, and very easy to use. Dont know how these arent more expensive, but they work as well as the name brand knifes I have in my kitchen. The price is insane, so I stocked up to give some as gifts.

Terrific Knife
My only complaint is that they dont offer a paring knife of the same quality to go with this great knife. I use it for almost everything. It doesnt work so well on fresh bread but is great when the bread is frozen. Not being a professional chef, I tend to expect a knife to do multi-duties and this one does just that.

This knife is very sharp and I have used it to cut up lots of fruits and vegetable for juicing. I bought a gigantic watermelon and I was able to cut through it no problem. Be careful if you have never used a knife like this before. I knicked myself a little the first time I used it. I didnt realize it was that sharp. After that, I havent had a problem using it. It has good handle to grasp onto without slipping and cuts easily. Follow instructions. Not used to cut bones of poulty or beef.

I had my reservations on whether this would really be as good as has been touted on commercials, but let me tell you, its fabulous! I use it every day and more times than once. This is another product where I was so impressed that I bought one for my best friend as well, and she has been raving about it ever since. I might note that she has RA and heavy knives or anything for that matter in her hands is painful, and the first thing she said to me was that it was soooo light and just slid through veggies and meats. It is now the go-to knife for both of us. Remember, do NOT cut through bones treat it well and youll have it forever.

Having used copper knives before, I was prepared to find this one, much larger than any of my other copper knives, to be a nice addition to our kitchen utensils.
