These are not actually earbuds: they're a high-tech set of OTC Digital Hearing Aids, designed for mild to moderate hearing loss in adults. These FDA-approved hearing aids are finely-tuned to increase hearing comprehension and enjoy your quality of life. They carry the RCA brand name, a trusted name in electronics since 1919!

The micro earbud design comfortably fits in the ears and is practically invisible to others. Unlike behind the ear models, this doesn't interfere with wearing glasses. A sturdy, near invisible pull wire makes it easy to remove the color-coded pieces.

Hearing loss symptoms include: difficulty hearing or understanding conversations (especially in groups or noisy environments) or when you can't see who is talking; difficulty hearing while using a telephone; fatigue due to greater listening effort; needing to turn up the volume of the television or radio louder than others to complain. Any of these scenarios could be improved with these RCA Hearing Aids.

You'll love how easy they are to use: there's no app required or complicated setup. Just turn the units on and insert them into your ears. Each hearing aid has 4 preprogrammed environment modes, and 6 volume levels you can cycle through with a tap. The active noise-reduction helps for exceptional listening clarity.

What's the difference between hearing amplifiers vs hearing aids?

Hearing amplifiers are designed to increase the volume of ALL sounds and amplify them with cheap, tiny speakers. Hearing aids are specifically tuned to increase higher-pitched frequencies like voices that are most common in hearing loss. The special smart chip inside processes the sounds it hears, for a less overwhelming and jarring experience.

Unlike cheap amplifiers, these are the REAL deal: FDA-registered class 1 hearing aids. A recent change in laws have allowed select companies to sell OTC (Over-the-Counter) hearing aid solutions that do not require a doctor's prescription. That being said, these are compliant for use in flexible or health savings accounts (FSA or HSA) as a necessary medical device.

The high-capacity batteries will last up to an impressive 14 hours on a single charge, and 42 hours by utilizing the durable charging case.

Each set of hearing aids includes the charging case, 3 sets of different-sized silicone ear tips, cleaning tool, Micro-USB charging cord, and user manual.

Not amplifiers, but actual hearing aids!
I am a Senior citizen with hearing loss issues and could not afford to buy hearing aids. I had purchased "amplifiers" that were marketed to be "like" hearing aids, but they were a joke. They amplified every noise, without filtering out background sounds.                                                                                             When I saw these RCA OTC Hearing Aids on sale here, I figured I'd give them a shot. I am so glad that I did! I am no longer asking people to repeat what they said, and I love that they have different settings for different situations, such as "standard", "Outdoors", "Restaurant", and "Music". It really makes a huge difference in the sounds that are filtered out, allowing you to hear clearly. I have mild loss in one ear and moderate in the other, and I can adjust the volume accordingly.                                                                            Truly a great purchase!

Question: Why can't I seem to adjust to using hearing aids?
Answer: Your new RCA Hearing Aid lets you experience sounds (mostly high-frequency ones) you might not have heard for a while: everyday sounds like clocks ticking, paper rustling or crinkling, nearby whispering or soft conversation, outdoor noises like wildlife, traffic, or even your own voice...

At first all these new sounds might be distracting, maybe even overwhelming.

Give yourself time to get accustomed—it could take as long as 3-4 Weeks. We recommend using your new hearing aid an hour or two a day at first, in quiet settings if possible. Then gradually increase the amount of time and variety of situations you use your new hearing aid in until they feel natural to you.

Question:
Where can I learn more?
Answer: RCA created an in-depth product video that explains how to use this particular model. It covers functionality, cleaning instructions, and tips for first time users of hearing aids. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE
