Best solution for us
We live in a warm often hot part of the country where we need to block the sun coming into our car as best we can. We have used conventional sun screens, even one custom fit to our car, and they have always been a challenge to put in place, and even more so to put away. This umbrella-like design handles both jobs much better. It is easy to set up and folds up very compactly and stores easily under our drivers seat.

This is a great idea to keep the sun off your dash! We live in Florida and the sun gets pretty intense. The screen we had did not fit our new van! This one is large enough to cover the entire windshield! And it folds up and back in the case I really did not think it would!

It gets hot here especially in the car. This is so much easier to take on and off the windshield than my old windshield shade

I think its a good idea but it should have a part of it to wrap under the mirror.

It doesnt unfold easily and there is no cutout for the rearview mirror. And if you do get it up to the windshield, no way to support it, at least in my Honda Accord.

I ve been struggling with those cheap mylar accordion-type car window shades forever, so I figured why not try this? I couldn t beat the price. But when I got it, it was so easy to use, it stays in place you just need to flip down the visors. Really well-made and looks pretty durable. It even comes with this great little case to put it in, like you would an umbrella. Bravo!
