I dont like the residue it left
I probably will not be using this item. I ended up buying a stainless steel grill brush for my brand new grill. I dont like the residue this item left on my grill grates.

My husband does the grilling. He said it works great and tossed out the wire brush. Just remember to wipe off the small amount of stone dust left to complete the cleaning.

I have been using a similar product for several years, after I read about a person getting a metal piece through their gut from metal grill cleaners. This one is bigger, lasts longer, and is less expensive. Whats not to love?!

Ive had this now for a year and just bought some refills. I like this but I will say it takes a few weeks before you get the grooves going. Once you have grooves it cleans really good.
Thats the only reason it is 4 stars and not 5.

Not all that good. Leaves white powder residue which needs to be cleaned off before using the grill. Doesnt really get between grates leaving burnt residue. Prefer my wire brush. Do not recommend.
Fine product
Seems to work well. Have not used enough to create grooves in the stone but it cleans well. Looks like this will last a long time and I no longer have to worry about tiny metals getting into my food.

This grill cleaner did a great job after the grill had not been used all winter. no stray wires to worry about. Got several for gifts.
Disappointed
Does not clean grill well. I still need to use a brush to clean between the grate. It leaves stone graininess on top of grate. I will be using a wire brush again. Very disappointed in this product.

1st Pulse purchase Im a little disappointed in. Works OK on top surfaces but difficult to get the sides of the grille bars. Bar is rigid vs flexible, so it cant wrap around the sides. I also purchased the replacement stones kinda wish I didnt. Unfortunate, because Im usually very happy with Pulse products.

Super Safe Stone Block Grill Cleaner
Although this stone is probably a great idea, I wont use it. It leaves pieces of the pumice stone all over the grill. With a wire brush, you worry about wire bristles. With this cleaner, you worry about pieces of pumice in your food. I used a wire brush to get the pumice off the grill, followed up with a grill scouring pad.

Works really well
I used it both on a wire type grilling surface as well as a cast grilling surface! It worked well on both. It works especially well if you use it in a straight line for a little bit to wear in the ceramic pad it will take on the shape of the surface, that way it will help to clean th sides of the grate also!

Does a good job on the top of the grill grates, but does not get in between them. Would be good for a flat top grill.
Powder Residue
I like the fact that the stone cleans the grill very well and does not require heating grill. However, it occurred to me afterward that the powder residue must be wiped clean before placing meat. I also find it necessary to clean powder that falls to burners or pan. Safe method of cleaning grill, but requires more work than I thought, just because of the powder.

Deposits stone dust on every surface it touches. This requires
cleaning after use. The stone cleans well but you cant finish cleaning the grill until it has cooled.

Granite did not clean between the grate slats and left a granite dust residue which required cleaning with soap and water.

Leaves grit on grill
Dont know how well its actually cleaning the grill, as it leaves a white grit over the entire surface. Looks like they were painted. Is that going to stick to the food that is cooked on there?

Good So Far
This product looks good so far. My concern is, have i replaced the wires with grit. With the wires I always pre-heated the grill for 5 minutes which should burn up any stray wires. This leaves a grit behind that doesnt burn.

I dont like them cannot see where they clean the grill and that is why I got them. just a waste of money I would not recommend this product.
Safe grill cleaner
I heard a story on the radio about the danger of using a wire brush and possibly ingesting bits of wire. When I saw these, I ordered them for all of my children.

I didnt think this cleaned any better than the metal brush and sometimes leaves the powder residue. Sounded better than it is.

At first I wondered how this gray block of fine grit was going to clean anything, but it does! My grill grates are as clean. It took the grease and residue off like nothing Ive used before!
I get the white stuff all over the grill
When I clean the grill I get the white stuff all over the grill. Then I have to wash the whole grill or eat the stuff
OK Grill cleaner
Does clean off the top of the grill but does not get down between grates. Think the idea is you use and it weras down so will clean between grates but have used 4 times and do not see that happening. I am not a body builder so only using enough energy to clean not wear down this. I use this first then my brush to clean the tandem work but was hoping this would be all I would need and that is not what I found

These work better than anything I have ever used....once the grooves form, they work even better without much effort on my part. Highly recommend them.
