Light sensitive Solar Post Lights turn themselves on and off
These solar lights require no wiring. The solar panel will charge the built-in rechargeable battery with 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight exposure. That will give you up to 8 hours of illumination when the sun goes down. The lamps can be turned on and off manually, or on the automatic setting a light sensor will activate the lights as soon as it becomes dusk.
Installation is as easy as putting in 2 screws. The lights are designed to fit on top of 4" x 4" square posts, but with the included adapters they will also fit on top of 5" x 5" and 6" x 6" posts. All hardware is included. And since these are designed to be used outside they are, of course, weather resistant with a rating of IP54.
