This device is a great product for a great cost. I was truly surprised of how great the audio quality is.
They Work!
These actually work better than expected for such a cheap device. Sound quality and sensitivity is not great, a bit muffled, but good enough for their intended purposes. The transfer speed is slow, but sufficient for the audio files. They have more than enough memory space. Recording time is limited by the battery capacity, to several hours. Looks like many hours could be saved on the device. Plug in to a computer to recharge, save, and listen at the same time. Very small and unobtrusive. Easily records notes and conversations from a shirt pocket. Nice for all those sales calls that tell you that this is a recorded line. Now you have a recorded copy also! of course your mobile phone will do all this as well or better, but that is bulky and obvious, this device is not.

Ive bought several of these over the years. Usually have to replace because someone wants it more than I did. Leave in a lab, or family needs it. They are so good, that lots of times they are sold out, so buy them when you can!!

I like it, I take it to meetings, I dont have to write anything. Just turn on the switch to record, put it in my shirt pocket with the microphone facing away from me and turn it off when the meeting is over.

The best thing about this device is it works - and very well! As the recording secretary in several committees, I use this to record the meeting informing everyone in advance so I can play back when typing minutes to assure correctness. The fact that Ive never had a request to correct the minutes says it all. I cant speak to how long this will work as Ive only used it two months thus far.

I have only used it once and the sound quality was very good. You have to download it on your computer because it will not play back. The only thing I noticed is that you have to put it on a surface and not touch it or move it around because it picks up every little sound.

Ordered several of these recorders and some did not work at all. I havent found out for sure how many yet as they were gifts and I need to contact everyone and find out.

I purchased this item to carry with me at work to take notes on everything going on that I will need to record in a logbook or order parts for. A very convenient and useful tool with good playback clarity.
Audio Recorder
After speaking with customer service and understanding how the recorder works, I am very pleased with it. I take dance classes and I record the dance steps so I am able to learn them. With the voice recorder, I take the class and record the steps at the same time. It is great.

Dont panic
Get the recorder manual from pulsetv.com. .WAV might not play on your phone / computer. S/w, apps available to either just play .wav file, or convert it to a format that will. Store on sim, save memory for messages.

I recently submitted a 1 star review for the 4g voice recorder sold on PulseTV.com. I must change that to a 5 STAR review. I was not using the correct program to open the recordings and therefore I was not happy. After corresponding with Peggy at customer service about my review, she told me what to do, I used the proper program and these recorders work great! The sound quality is great and I am VERY pleased with my purchase. I apologize to all that I may have influenced to not buy these. You should and you, too, will be pleased at their functionality and clarity just as I am now. Thank you Anisa and Peggy for offering us great products at great prices. And, no, they did not ask me to re-do my review. I felt that I had an obligation to correct my mistake and admit that I was wrong because I read reviews very carefully before I buy anything online and they do weigh heavily into my decisions.

This flash drive recorder is truly amazing. Its mike is very sensitive. It even recorded in my shirt pocket and the audio was crystal clear. Packs a lot of punch in a small package.

Sound Quality is not the best, but for just getting the idea of what is going on it is fine. Picks up a lot of extraneous noise. For a Verbal Note Pad however it is fine.

At a certain age, one goes, often, to Drs offices to receive info that is important but sometimes confusing. I use this little helper to gather that information and Windows Media Player to play back what I need to hear, and to let my hubby know what was said. Great helper!!

Purchased for my grandson. a freshman in college, after checking it out, I ordered one for myself to record family history and gatherings as well as doctors appts. I download on my computer. The best value ever.
Great little recorder
I bought this to record meetings at work and class notes. It was a little difficult at first to find out how to listen to the recordings, but once I figured that out I was greatly surprised at the quality and clarity of the recordings. To listen to your recordings, open RECORDINGS, then open VOICE. Right click on the recording you want to listen to and chose the program. It picks up voices clearly with no background noise, etc.
Convenient and really functions well
I have had a couple of occasions to use this recorder since receiving it. I use it to help me take accurate notes for meetings. It is literally the size of a flash drive and convenient to carry around in a pocket so it is always nearby.
Audio Recorder
I havent used it to record anything yet, but I wasnt able to charge it using the computer I use daily. I have Windows 10 and the recorder will only work on older models. Fortunately we do have an older computer, but its inconvenient to not be able to charge or download on my primary computer.

Most EXCELLENT Product
I was not sure how well this device would work, but I was more than pleasantly surprised! The first time I used it was in a meeting with 18 people. The room was fairly large and we sat around a U-shaped table. I was skeptical if it would pickup all voices. It recorded every voice in the meeting. It is a fantastic product sold at a most reasonable price! I am a very happy Pulse TV customer.
Great for college courses
Gave one to my son who wears it on a lanyard. He tapes his professors lectures for play back later while studying. Works very well! He has broken the lanyard top after 6 months, but as it worked so well we purchased another. Takes about 4 hours to fully charge up in a computer. Love this unit.
voice overmodulates if too close!
The microphone I think its the tiny hole on the back side? is a wee bit too sensitive, and if you hold it closer than about 24 inches to any voice source, the voice is overmodulated on play back. And, if you fidget with it, all the surface scratching is really annoying on play back! Dont rub it, dont let it slide around in your pocket!
It does pick up sounds from all over the room, however. And I have not tested it for the advertised 70 hour recording! And the manual doesnt suggest how long it should take for a full charge from empty. Does it come fully charged? Who knows!

I was not sure how well this device would work, but I was pleasantly surprised! I turned it on, put it in my shirt pocket, and walked into the VFW for a few beers. It recorded every voice in the place, even the jukebox music...! All perfectly clear! Great product at a great price!

Great Voice Recorder
This is one of the best voice recorders Ive ever used. It looks like a flash drive so you can leave it right out in the open and record without it being noticed. You can even put in it your pocket and it records with very little distortion. The only thing about pocket recording is to stand relatively still. If you move your arms a lot when talking, you get interference from the material swishing against it. I ordered two of them and put one on a lanyard that I wear around my next when I go into meetings. When asked about it, I just say its a flash drive with project data I dont want to lose. Plausible reason. No one thinks twice about it. Awesome backup to capture details without having to take extensive notes.

Tiny Powerhouse at a Tiny Price
I was amazed at the sound quality of this device. I bought myself another one for backup and another for a friend. This device is sold at Hammacher Schlemmer for over 3 times as much. In my work, I sometimes need to collect a record of conversations with auditors and regulators, with their permission, of course. This is great, because I can carry it in my pocket at all times and be ready to record their statements to avoid misunderstandings.

This recorder is kind of amazing. I bought 2 then bought 2 more. I use one for recording my dreams which I forget pretty fast, I gave one to my wife to use, I use one for miscellaneous things which help me remember stuff like peoples names, and the last one is just a spare.

This recorder works as advertised. Just flip the switch and it records. The only negative thing I can say is that the record switch is pretty stiff and not easy to turn on and off. The recording quality is satisfactory for its intended purpose.

If there is a better way to to find on Apple laptop I dont know what it is. U dont have to yell for it to record, which I love. Holds tuns of audio, that can be deleted. Wonderful that u can erase and reuse. Last one I had like this u could not erase. Good price, works great. I recommend to anyone.

It works great and is super convenient. I keep it on my key chain so I can find it whenever I need it. It is actually just clipped on the key ring so I can get it and use it even when I am driving. Ive had a big bulky one in the past and this beats that hands down.

I had bought one of these a long time ago from Pulse .Im pretty sure it was the same thing,or at least the same company.I have used it a few times when I go to the doctor and have had success with it.Very pleased.Now that I have two,I keep one in the car all the time.

Got the item for meetings at our club house. Never got to use it. Got into a play and used this to remember what the director wanted to do. Hearing what was said at these rehearsals was a riot. Got one for my friend he wanted have his friend record his playing guitar and this work out great.

Slide the switch to REC. Talk. Slide the switch to STOP. This thing is my idea of EASY to use. Plug it into a USB port. Your computer recognizes it is plugged in. Click on it and save it. Worked perfectly right out of the box.

Super Unit
Have had this a few years, used regularly to record audio for meeting minutes and used at doctor appointments so I have the correct instructions and comments. The little unit has never missed a beat! Would be nice if file dates could be changed, but what the heck, its only a few bucks!!

I ordered two of these at the same time. One works great, the other, however, doesnt work at all. There appears to be something amiss with the toggle switch to turn it on. Will try and return for a new one.

Love this item. It works great and I can pause the recording while Im listening to it. Very small and convenient. My only problem is that the date of the recording shows up as 12/5/2008 and I dont know how to change the date. The manual that came with it is of no help. Suggestions are welcome.
Worth more than its weight in gold
I, like another reviewer love to use this in a case where you think someone will say one thing & later change their storybasically lie to you. With this item, that can be easily hidden, youve got the conversation on record. I LOVE it!!!! Its a life saver when a person says I didnt say that. And so great to take to doctors with you when they tell you one thing & write something else in their notes!! Its a life safer!!

I purchased mine a few months ago and love it. I have taken several seminars and was able to go back and clarify info I missed the first time. Even used it at a doctors appointment when getting a lot of info that I knew I would not remember all of. Works like a dream.
Taking minutes for meetings
. . . I have bought several of these 2GB flash-drive recorders, which have remarkably good pick-up for a room full of people speaking at a meeting. On a Mac, open the file from within the QuickTime Player menu, not iTunes. The Voice/Audio USB recorder makes a nice gift for friends who need an audio back-up to their secretarial minutes.

hi the voice/audio usb Recorder is a great product works like they say... and has the nice idea of the voice recorder... The only draw back is it gets a little frustrating to only listen if connecting to the comp..but other wise good product that works well

Excellent item. Easy to use, holds a charge, easy to drag and drop .mp3 into a directory to save. To clear the memory, just delete mp3 on device. Simple, easy, works! What else is there to say?
