GREAT for removing ticks!
We went birding while visiting my son in FL, and ended up covered in ticks. Some were microscopic. Most were attached. My son gave us his tweezers to remove them, and it happened to be this Haus of Steel one. The end is different--the tip is angled, which is typical, but the angled ends are very fine. The metal is thin. This made grabbing the tick right down to its embedded head quite easy. It was a better solution than those tick removing spoons you can buy, which are plastic, so I could never have removed the tiny baby ones that way. It gives you better grip on the tick than pointy end tweezers too. Ended up buying 7 of these to have everywhere--cars, backpacks, bathroom, etc. These tools are a nice looking matte gunmetal gray. The clippers arent concave as clippers usually are, so they require a little different technique when you use them, but they cut really well.
