In addition to the seed packets you get 4 burlap grow bags with waterproof lining, 4 potting soil disks, 4 wooden plant markers, trimming scissors, and a lined wood box that doubles as a planter.
Soak the soil disks in hot water and they will expand to several times their original size. Then break apart the soil and place in the burlap pots 3/4 of the way to the top. Pre-soak the seeds and place 4 or 5 in each of the burlap pots before covering them with the remaining soil. Then all you need is light, water and patience. In 11 to 12 weeks you'll be feasting on delicious peppers close to the top of the Scoville scale.
And YES! You can grow peppers year-round indoors (but you'll likely need a grow light if you experience gloomy winters).

I am very happy with my hot pepper seed starting kit. The wooden box is beautifully constructed. The seeds really range on the scoville scale, so chances are heatwise theres a plant for everybody here. They really put a lot of thought into this box and it shows. I was planning on it being a gift but when I saw it and opened it up I changed my mind.
