The toothbrush holder has suction cups on them and if your bathroom wall does not like the suction cups, you can cut them off and use a couple screws to mount it to the wall. If it does not hold like it should you can go to any hardware store and get some wall mounting screw sets that have a little plastic sleeve that first slips into the nail hole or screw hole and then you can mount the screw into that. I have taken the suction pads off and mounted 2 of these at the headboard frame of our wooded bed headboard and we put the remotes to our adjustable bed in them. You could also put the TV remote in them also. I mounted them in my garage and put a small notebook and pencils in them, and I hang an extra garage door remote on the front lip of the toothbrush holder. I also put some inside our RV camper in several places. This is a very good product!
