Lightload's Full-Size Beach Towel (36 inches X 60 Inches) comes in a compressed state, about the size of a hockey puck. The puck-style package is sealed and waterproof to ensure the towel is not contaminated before it's opened. Each Full-Size Towel weighs only 5 ounces, is made of 100% Soft Viscose, and has tremendous water management properties. Viscose is known for its soft, silk-like feel and can absorb 9.5 times its weight of water. Plus it's breathable like cotton so it also drys extremely fast. Viscous also lets the material be made thinner without sacrificing strength. For this reason, Lightload Towels can be reused many times and even dried in the dryer. They can also be washed in a washing machine but to extend the life, hand washing is recommended.
How To Use A Compressed Towel
1. Open the outer plastic wrapping.
2. Use the "disc" to start drying off and slowly unravel.
3. To expand the towel quickly, dip the entire disc in water and unravel.
3. When fully expanded and wet, wring out and let dry.
Note: Even when fully submerging in water to unravel, the towel will be dry enough to use as a regular towel within a couple of minutes.

The Full-Size Reusable Compressed Beach Towel is one of my favorite new items! So what is so special about a beach towel?
To start it's much more than a beach towel. It has so many uses, I started calling it my Swiss Army Towel.
Think about how much room a standard beach towel takes up in your bag. Well, this towel only takes up 3.5 Inches of space and it's just one inch thick. That means one bag can hold tons of towels. If your worried about being weighed down... No worries, each towel weighs just five ounces.
I said this was a full-size towel and I meant it. Unfolded it measures 36-inches X 60-Inches. Plus it's made of High-Strength Viscose. It's soft, comfortable and mega-absorbent, and dries within minutes instead of hours. To unravel the towel, just dunk it in water. Why would I want to dry off with a wet towel? I was in for a surprise. Even after absorbing 9.5 times its weight in water, it was almost fully dry within about five minutes.
So After seeing how fast this towel drys me off, I started experimenting with all of the other functions. The first thing I did was rip a stripped section off, now I have a headband that absorbs sweat better than any bandana I've ever used. You can also use these strips to wrap an injury or tear a square piece to shield your whole head. While the material is strong, it's also thin so you can tear it with a little effort for many first-aid type bandages or wraps.
The next thing I tried was to use this towel as a fire starter. There is two ways you can do this. The first way is you use the towel like a candle. The material is wickable so it will burn slowly and for a long time. Just remove the plastic wrapping on the towel and pull up a portion of the towel like a wick. Light it and you've got a fire source that will last hours. The other way you can use this towel for fire is by tearing small pieces and using them as kindling.
