Exactly as advertised and better

Exactly as advertised. Perfect for any of the nice people who constantly keep an earbud out or a headphone off of one ear to be able to hear if someone calls their name. The sound quality is good and surprisingly non-disruptive in a public setting as the sound is more audible to you than anyone in your surroundings; ironically, the more crowd noise, the less disruptive it becomes. At its narrowest point, the neck opening is indeed just over 4 inches and it fits my size 17 1/2 neck just fine. It rubs a little going on and coming off, but it is far from uncomfortable. The weight is slightly noticeable but surprisingly comfortable for extended periods in most postures. Battery life is DEFINITELY over 2 hours. Out of the box, mine had two hours on wireless and another 6 hours on auxiliary with no signs of slowing down. I charged it that night and still have not needed to charge it again after at least 8 hours on auxiliary over a couple of days. The only drawbacks to this device that I have found is that 1. the speaker has to be powered for the auxiliary input to function, it is not a passive connection like most headphones and speakers, 2. there is apparently no way to determine the remaining battery life, and 3. ladies with makeup may need to be careful to avoid caking it on the canvas covering overlaying the top side of the device. Just in case you missed it in the video, and since it can be difficult to see in the pictures, this is not a soft, flexible collar; it is a solid plastic piece that slides on from the back of your neck towards the front and rests on your shoulders. By texture, the plastic seems to be the type used to make the Kindle Fire tablet, so I would expect it to be quite durable with proper use and care. I've owned dozens of speakers, headphones, and earbuds. They all have their pros and cons, but this speaker is the first of its kind that I've tried out. The neckband speaker combines the comfort and wireless freedom of a speaker with the personal immersive sound of headphones. It's the best of both worlds while fixing some real problems!

The Problem with Headphones/Earbuds
Some headphones (looking at you Beats!) are pretty bulky and can squeeze your head uncomfortably. And while earbuds are nice for sealing out the outside world - it can lead to sweaty ears.

This neckband provides the same kind of personal sound without all that added bulk - without sealing your ears from the outside world! Whether you're driving, biking, or going for a stroll on the trail: you'll be fully aware of your surroundings for safety.

The Problem with Speakers
Speakers are great if you are working in a room, but if you want to control your music you have to take the phone out of your pocket or go across the room and change it on the speaker. The sound quality/volume also diminishes the further you physically are from a speaker.

Now you can easily skip songs and control the volume for consistant sound, everywhere you go while the lightweight unit sits on your shoulders.

You'll see wearable speakers like this made by big expensive brands like JBL, Monster, Bose... but they can be almost $200! While this has a similar form, it should be considered an entry-level option in terms of sound and construction. You can't beat this price to try it out!
