The Best Indoor/Outdoor Weather Station
This weather station promptly displays the current outdoor temperature. You'll also notice an arrow next to it which indicates the trending temperature so you immediately know how to plan your day accordingly.
Under that is the option to view the daily high and low temperatures. You can view and cycle through them using the arrow button on the front of the display.
Under that, you can read an extremely accurate weather forecast. AcuRite's patented Self-Calibrating Forecast provides your personal forecast of weather conditions for the next 12-24 hours.
Other displayed information includes barometric pressure in either kPa or inHg, indoor temperature, indoor humidity, moon phases, date, and time.
Programming Your AcuRite Weather Station
Set up is a breeze. Simply fill the display with 3 AAA and the sensor with 2 AA batteries (not included), place the sensor outside up to 165 ft. away from the Display Unit, and that's it! The sensor will then send its readings to the Display Unit.
The durable outdoor sensor can withstand temperature ranges from -40 degrees F and 158 degrees F.
Please note that upon startup, you'll notice "learning" displayed above the forecast. That means the sensor is calibrating itself to your specific regional climate conditions. After 14 days, that will disappear and you will begin to read pinpoint accurate weather forecasts.
